Enterprise AI Search
Intent-aware AI search across every system your team uses. Multilingual, personalised per user, self-improving. Time-to-information drops from minutes to seconds.
What is enterprise AI search?
Enterprise AI search is a search layer that understands intent across all the systems your team already uses (CRM, ERP, knowledge bases, email, drives) and returns synthesised answers with citations to source documents. Unlike traditional keyword-based enterprise search, it handles natural-language queries, code-switched Greek and English content, and personalises results based on each user's role.
Industry analysts treat it as a category-defining shift. Gartner projects that by the end of 2026, more than 40% of enterprise applications will embed task-specific AI agents, with retrieval at the core. McKinsey's 2025 State of AI report identifies workflow redesign — the work an intent-aware search layer makes possible — as the largest EBIT lever from generative AI. IDC has flagged enterprise search as one of the fastest-growing line items in 2026 software budgets.
Headline facts
- 12 minutes → 30 seconds. Time-to-information at Botilia after deploying Enterprise AI Search.
- 3 to 4 weeks. Contract to live, including data-source mapping, integration, and UAT with real users.
- Per-tenant model isolation. No cross-customer pooling, ever. Contractual under the MSA, not a setting.
- Median query latency under 400 ms cached. Sub-second cold.
- EU-resident infrastructure by default. GDPR + SOC 2 Type II. On-premise option on Enterprise.
What Enterprise AI Search does
- Understands intent, not just keywords. Identifies what a query is really asking for.
- Multilingual native. Greek and English in the same document, same query, same result.
- Personalised per user, role, and department. Same query, different context, better answers.
- Predictive suggestions that anticipate what teams need before they search.
- Connects every system: CRM, ERP, drives, email, knowledge bases, custom internal tools.
- Self-improving accuracy from every interaction signal.
Built for enterprise data posture
Results respect every existing access control in the source systems. EU-resident infrastructure aligned with GDPR and SOC 2 Type II by default. TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 at rest, customer-held keys on Enterprise. Enterprise tier supports on-premise or hybrid deployment, where the entire index, the ranking model, and the personalisation layer live inside your perimeter. Full audit trail of every query, click, and result, with 90-day default retention (configurable). Sub-processor list disclosed under the MSA.

Frequently asked questions
What systems can it search?
Anything with an API or a structured export. Out of the box: Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Salesforce, HubSpot, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Notion, Confluence, Zendesk, Jira, Slack, shared drives. Custom connectors built during deployment for in-house systems.
How does it handle permissions?
Results respect every existing access control in the source systems. Users only see what they could already see. We mirror your permission model during integration, and we verify it against real user accounts during UAT before go-live.
Where does the data live?
EU-resident infrastructure aligned with GDPR by default. Enterprise tier supports on-premise or hybrid deployment, where the index lives entirely inside your perimeter and only retrieval queries leave. Full audit trail of every query, click, and result either way.
What about Greek and English mixed content?
Built for it. Product names, technical terms, and internal jargon that mix Greek and English in the same document or query are handled natively, not retrofitted. A Greek query surfaces English source material and vice versa.
How long until we go live?
3 to 4 weeks from contract. Data-source mapping (1 week), integration and indexing (1 week), personalisation configuration (1 week), testing and fine-tuning (1 week). By the end of that month your team has a search tool that understands your business.
Can it be self-hosted?
Yes, on the Enterprise tier. The index, the ranking model, and the personalisation layer all run inside your perimeter. We deploy and operate it; your data never leaves your stack.
What's the latency and scale ceiling?
Median query latency is under 400 ms cached, under 1 second cold. Indexing throughput is calibrated to source-system rate limits — typically 50,000 to 500,000 documents per hour during initial ingest, then incremental. Single deployments today serve up to 250,000 queries a day per tenant; the architecture is horizontally scalable beyond that.
Are queries used to train models across customers?
No. Each tenant has an isolated ranking model. We do not pool query data, click signals, or content across customers — ever. The personalisation layer that learns from your team's interactions is exclusive to your tenant. This is contractual under the MSA, not a setting.
